<ul>
<li style="list-style-type:disc;">House Bill 2330, passed by the Texas Legislature in 2009, requires Texas laboratories performing a serum creatinine test on an individual 18 years of age or older to calculate the person&#8217;s dGFR (or an alternativeequivalent calculation) and include it in their reported results.</li>
<li>Physicians who request a serum creatinine test are required to provide all clinical and demographic information needed to calculate the eGFR to the laboratory.</li>
